The road less traveled

Today we begin the walk with Jesus on His actual journey to the cross. I’ve thought a lot about Simon from Cyrene and how he carried the cross for Jesus. Whether he would’ve done it willingly or being forced by the Roman soldiers, I’d like to think that Simon stepped up. This is the kind of person I want to be for Jesus. What a great opportunity we have to carry a cross for Jesus. This to me is the road less traveled. Think about your life and how you live it. 

Are you taking the road less traveled or are you blending in with the crowd watching Jesus carry His cross?

Pray: Jesus, give me the courage to pick up the cross and follow you.
