FIRST VERSES...Загвар

God speaks! The God of the Bible is a speaking God; a God who speaks the language of human beings and a God who speaks through human beings. And God speaks most clearly through the one perfect human being, Jesus Christ the Lord, Jesus Christ who is God-in-the-flesh. 

Yesterday we dwelt upon the God who spoke in Genesis and who brought creation – everything – into being. Today God speaks to Moses and through Moses to the people of Israel. And, as always – and as we see in the message of the gospel – it is God who takes the initiative: God calls; God initiates the conversation; God has plans for Moses; God has plans for the chosen people. And here, today, some thousands of years later, God is still speaking to the bride of Christ, the Christian church in all the world. God speaks!
