1343 BC Eglon of Moab invades the land of Ephraim and Benjamin, but Ehud wins 80 years of peace. In c.1305 BC Shamgar defeats the Philistines. Then the Canaanite Jabin subdues and rules parts of Israel for 20 years until Deborah rises up and, with Barak, overpowers and kills him.
