Worship: Because of Christ's Sacrifice

This climactic instructional section of Hebrews (10:19–13:25) begins with a summary of the argument for Christ’s superiority, then shifts to the transformed attitudes that are necessary as a result. Since Christ is the final redemptive sacrifice and great High Priest, we can enjoy the full privileges he has secured: personal access to God through Christ without an elaborate system; full assurance of our faith and salvation; hope for what the future holds; and encouragement from other people of faith. Through Christ and a community of believers we receive everything we need for our spiritual growth.
