Godly character takes initiative.
Nehemiah was a man in the Bible that had a BIG job to do. God told him to build walls around an entire CITY! That’s a huge wall! Nehemiah knew it would be really hard work, but he also knew that it really needed to be done so that the city of Jerusalem would be safe. Nehemiah stepped up, took initiative, worked hard, and trusted God’s power to get the job done.
