The One: Resurrection

Drought can affect every area of our being: our physical bodies, our spiritual walk, our emotional responses. To change the dryness of our situations we must first realize and acknowledge the desert spots. If we invite God into those places to breathe new life, that’s when we start to change. 

True change usually doesn’t happen overnight though. It is consistently watering and nurturing that area. If your physical body is suffering, treat it well by feeding it good food and getting some exercise. 

Maybe your finances are suffering drought. Consistency in good stewardship plus committing to tithe and offer up your first fruits to God equals the perfect conditions for a deluge of blessing.

To resurrect your spirit, speak God’s word, spend time with your Creator, tell your mountains about the big God you serve. When you prophesy to your problems, you make way for the healing rains to come.

Prayer: God, breath new life in every dry area. Resurrect that which needs newness and make me gratefully aware of your river of blessings.
