The One: Sowing

What are you sowing? The principle of sowing and reaping is evident everywhere. If we put the time in on our education, we can get a better job. If we eat healthy and hit the gym periodically, we feel better. We can sow seeds with our words, our time, our finances.

What are you sowing into your loved ones with your words? Examine your calendar and your bank statement, and you’ll have a good idea of the seeds you’re sowing with your time and money.

When we are generous in any of those areas—time, treasure, talents, words—we will eventually see fruits that both bless others and boomerang back to bless us. Increase in your blessing happens because God isn’t the God of addition; He is the God of multiplication. 

Are you sowing well?

Prayer: Let me sow good seeds today, Lord. Let the words I speak, the time I spend, the money you’ve given me and the talents you’ve blessed me with be used to multiply blessing in your Kingdom. I give it all with a cheerful and grateful heart, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
