Day 6
PROPHETIC WORDS RAISES UP AN EXCEEDINGLY GREAT ARMY
The prophetic and the working of the Spirit of God are very closely connected. The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. (Ezek 37:1) The Spirit of God is working in the prophet to bring about a change in the valley of bones. There were a lot of bones in the valley, and they were very dry.
God asked the prophet, “Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "O Lord GOD, You know." (v 3). When God asks questions, He is not looking for answers. Rather, He is testing our hearts to help us see what is in our hearts and what our level of faith is.
God instructed the prophet to prophesy over the dry bones. “O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!” (v 4). The word of God will cause breath to enter them so that they will live! God says He will put sinews and bring flesh upon them and put breath in them that they shall live.
The valley of dry bones comes alive when we speak God’s proceeding word over it! The word that proceeds from His mouth. (Mat 4:4). God’s heart is that His church will be full of the Holy Spirit and flowing in the prophetic. Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. (1 Cor 14:1) Moses echoed this same heart’s desire as Paul. Oh, that all the Lord’s people were prophets and that the Lord would put His Spirit upon them! (Num 11:29)
Prophecy is speaking words inspired by the Holy Spirit. Words that come from God. Words that are commanded from God. Not our own thoughts, wants, or desires. Prophecy is moving in faith, touching what is on the heart of God, and speaking it into the atmosphere. So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. (v 7)
The sinews followed the bones, then the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them. Breath was lacking. There was no breath. (v 8)
Then God said – Prophesy Life! "Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live." (v 9)
So I prophesied as He commanded me! And breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. (v 10)
From bones that were very numerous and very dry to an exceedingly great army! Moving in faith. Speaking words that His Spirit is releasing in our spirit, results in a dynamic fighting force.
Father, we choose to move with Your Spirit, speak the life-giving words that proceed from Your mouth, and see You turning dry bones into an exceedingly great army.
ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ

In the beginning, His word impact resulted in light. The whole creation came about by His word. A widow and her son were saved from death when she put her faith in the word Elijah spoke. She discovered that the little she had was always enough when she put God first. It changed her life completely. When we allow His word to do a deep work within us, we will be fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives us. May “Word Impact!” shape you to think and act like Jesus as you follow Him every day!
