Come Closerნიმუში

Two weeks of reading lie behind you—filled with questions, reflections, and encounters with God.
Hopefully, you’ve been encouraged, moved, and maybe even challenged.
Because when God draws near to us,
He also sends us out.
That’s what happened with Moses.
He stands there—barefoot—on holy ground.
He hears God’s voice.
He realizes: God is here.
Then God says, “So now, go. I am sending you...” (Exodus 3:10 NIV)
Closeness to God is not a destination where we stay.
It is a beginning.
A source.
A direction.
A mission.
The same is true for the disciples.
They see the miracle.
They experience the resurrection.
They recognize Jesus anew.
And then He says: “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before.” (Acts 1:4 NLT)
God draws us close—not to keep us to Himself—but to fill us with His love, so that others may encounter Him through us.
That might not mean a huge life change for you.
Maybe it simply means:
Paying attention.
Showing up.
Staying faithful.
Not being perfect—just being ready.
If you’d like, speak this prayer to Jesus:
“Jesus, thank You that I can come close to You.
Now send me—
so that others may see You, feel You, find You.
Through me.
With You.
Amen.”
