Come Closerნიმუში

You’re looking for your sunglasses.
You search everywhere—dig through bags, open drawers, scan the entire apartment.
Until someone says: “They’re on your head.”
Do you know moments like that?
Sometimes we don’t see what’s right in front of us—because we don’t expect to find it there.
Because we’re too busy, too fast, too caught up in ourselves.
And that’s also how it is with people.
We walk past them.
We see them—and yet we overlook them.
Not out of malice, but because our heart isn’t seeing.
God’s closeness changes that.
It not only transforms us, it also enables us to see what He sees.
Jesus was close to the Father—and precisely because of that, He was so close to people.
He didn’t just see faces, He saw stories.
Not just behavior, but brokenness.
He had compassion because He saw how tired and aimless they were...
Spiritually homeless, wandering, but without direction.
This way of seeing isn’t something you train; it’s a gift.
A result of being close to God.
Author C.S. Lewis once said:
“I believe in God like I believe in the sun—not because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.”
Through Him, we see the world—and other people—as God intended them.
Isaiah's story begins the same way:
With an encounter with God.
He sees God, is transformed—and then hears the question:
“Whom shall I send?”
His response isn’t out of duty—but because he has seen, and can no longer unsee:
“Here I am. Send me.”
Closeness to God never ends with just me.
It always leads to you.
To serving.
To compassion.
Not because I have to—but because I now see what He sees.
“Jesus, who do You want to show me today—someone I would otherwise overlook?"
