God has clear expectations when it comes to how we relate to our neighbor, the foreigner and the stranger. As you read today’s texts, consider the very practical ways we are called to love the foreigner and stranger. How might these apply to the way you relate to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in your country, city and neighborhood? Do these divine mandates provoke any internal tension or defensiveness?
