Uncharted: Ruach, Spirit of God

DAY 39 OF 70

"So Jacob worked seven years to pay for Rachel. But his love for her was so strong that it seemed to him but a few days." — Genesis 29:20 (NLT)

Love has a way of making sacrifice feel light. Jacob’s patience and persistence were fueled by love, not obligation. When we are passionate about something or someone, the wait and the work do not feel burdensome. Whether it is a dream, a calling, or a relationship, when we are driven by love and trust in God, we can endure the long path with joy. God honors those who serve faithfully with a heart full of devotion.

Think about what you are working toward today. Ask yourself if you are motivated by love, purpose, or pressure. Reframe your focus and do it as an act of love and worship.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for showing me the beauty of love-driven faithfulness. Teach me to wait well and to work with joy, knowing that what is done in love is never wasted. Strengthen my heart as I trust in Your timing. Amen.
