Simple Prayer: How to Pray Like Jesus

DAY 11 OF 25

We Need You

The Lord Reigns

Read: Psalm 93
"The LORD reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength." (Psalm 93:1 NIV)

Devotional Thought:
God’s kingdom is not just a future hope—it is a present reality. Psalm 93 declares that the Lord reigns now, clothed in majesty and strength. His rule is unshakable, established in eternity. In a world where human kingdoms rise and fall, God's kingdom stands firm. When we pray, “Your kingdom come,” we are asking for His rule to be revealed more in our lives and in the world around us. It is a prayer of trust, surrender, and longing for His justice and peace to take hold.

Reflection Activity – Communal Prayer:
Gather with others—your connect group, household, or a few friends—and spend time in communal prayer. Declare together: “You reign, Lord.” Invite God’s kingdom to come in your city, your church, and your relationships.

Prayer:
King of heaven, I acknowledge your rule over all things. Let your kingdom come in my heart, my home, and my community. May your justice and peace be seen on earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
