When people are close, they spend time with one another—quality time where they're not just scrolling on their phones, but are simply being together.

After Jesus shared that the greatest commandment is to love God, He also shared Marl 1:31 (NIV) with His followers:

"The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

What great motivation to love those around us well!

What is one of your favorite memories of having quality time with someone?

When you spend time with God, what are some good fruits, or good things, that come from that?

Prayer:

Lord, thank You that I am available. I am grateful that I get the gift of spending quality time with friends, family, and You. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Action:

This week, when you are talking with someone, but would normally be distracted, show them you care by giving them your attention. Looking them in the eye really helps with this!
