Isaiah 33:6
“He will be a sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.”
The fear of the Lord is the key to the storehouse of God’s salvation, wisdom and knowledge. That house is built upon the Lord Jesus Christ as its foundation. If we treasure and value what God values, we will pursue the fear of the Lord and what He alone can provide. When our treasures are on earth, they are vulnerable and temporal. When our treasures are in heaven, they are eternal.
Will we base our life on God’s value system or our own?
Lord Jesus, you are my very great reward. I humble myself before you and thank you for opening up the stores of wisdom and knowledge to me.
