Goodness


God’s goodness in His people avoids sexual immorality, impurity, greediness, all disobedience, and fruitless deeds of darkness. On the contrary, God’s children live as children of light and seek to please the Lord, “for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth” (Ephesians 5:9) Here Paul clearly parallels righteousness and truth with goodness.


“I pray my child will avoid immorality and disobedience. Fill him/her with goodness. In Jesus's name, Amen.”
