Forgiveness Let's take a look at some Bible Verses. God wants you to be at peace, fearless, full of faith, hope, and love, right? He wouldn't want you anxious or full of anger. Forgiveness Scriptures teach you how to be a more forgiving person.

Man Says: I know I upset him, but I think he'll forget it.  But ...

God Says Not really. People hold on to things that hurt them. Proverbs 18:19

Man Says You just don't understand all the bad I've done! I'm beyond forgiveness.

God Says I am an "Again" God. I don't change. I forgive, over and over. Micah 7:18-19

Man Says Yes, I think I hurt her, but I just can't go to her now. 

God Says Then, your worshiping/serving me is empty.  Reconcile. Matthew 5:23-24
