We're All Counting On You

Mordecai told Esther that “perhaps” she was created “for such a time as this.” Of course, he was talking about her role to redeem her people by risking her life to approach the king unsummoned in order to expose the treachery of Haman. 

But Paul tells us in his letter to the church at Ephesus that we are ALL created for the time and place we live. Not one person is a mistake; each has his or her purpose for being here.

How do you know God has a purpose for your life? You still have your life.

If you’re reading this, you’re still breathing and God still has something He wants you to accomplish; a gift He’s given you that He wants you to share; a talent He wants you to use to bless others; time He wants you to spend making your corner of the world more beautiful.

Only you can do it. God believes in you and gives you everything you need. The rest of us need you to fulfill His purposes for you.

Don’t lose heart; we believe in you and we’re all counting on you.
