DAY 6 — Receive the Gift of Rest  

There is another hidden truth in the middle of this verse that I want us to meditate on today. He says here, “The Lord GIVES rest to His people.” God is saying REST is a GIFT. He GIVES rest. It’s not earned. It’s not worked for. It’s given as a gift to God’s people. The moment we are born again, we immediately become part of God’s chosen people. And this gift of rest—from our struggles and battles—is ours. Just ask God for it right now. And begin to thank God for it. Things will change!
