Rooted

God allows His extremely addictive love for us to remain a mystery. Built into this elusive concept is the idea of a never-ending pursuit to discover the hidden, real meaning of love. In other words, the pursuit of discovering what we do not know draws us into a search to find what we are looking for. We then become one with the mystery. And it is this mystery that becomes the fertile soil for our personal journey of life with Him. His love is the genesis of the fruitful lives we are predestined to have in Him. He feeds us with Himself as the nourishment for all of our stages of life’s unfoldings; from the seed to the blade; from the blade to the blossom; from the blossom to the fruit. It is our privilege to be rooted and ground in this kind of love; a love that knows every expanse and possibility of our flaws, failures, faults and findings and yet, chooses still to love. And in it, we stand tall.
