Jesus wants to keep an eye on you. He knows what is coming. He knows what is going to happen to you, what decisions you need to make, what victories you will win, and what mistakes you will run into.  If you rest in Him, He will be your safety net.

I hope to live one day in my life where I think more about Jesus than I think about myself.

That is the way God thinks about you, about me. Psalm 139 is a clear picture of this. God knit you together. He formed you. And he thinks about you more than the number of grains of sand on the beach. Your father God thinks about you all the time!

He can’t stop thinking about you. So, will you rest in Jesus? Will you connect with him? Will you cling to, bear hug, wrap your arms and legs around him like a 2-year-old?

Resting in the arms of Jesus will affect every area of your life. . It is the best thing you can do for your marriage, rest in Jesus. The best thing you can do as a parent, rest in Jesus. The best thing you can do at work, rest in Jesus. The best thing you can do in your neighborhood, rest in Jesus. The best thing you can do in this church, rest in Jesus. He will not let you down. He will not walk away. Connect to him, and your rest will turn into an overflow of joy in your life and the life of others around you.
