A good attachment to God is learned. Every generation should teach the following generations how to glue themselves to God. Under Moses, the Israelites learned to tie God’s words on their bodies and fastened them on their houses. Fastening God’s symbols where everyone could see was combined with telling stories about what these symbols mean. Every generation taught the next to glue themselves to God.
