A Path of Light

You didn’t give me the ability to see and know the future for good reason. In the unknowing, I am to lean upon Your sure provision and nothing else. In this place of surrender and vulnerability, You call me back to Your presence for all things…this is always the starting place and ending place for peace. In the unknowing we are to lean into You and lean upon You with certainty and joy, not fear.

I want to have the security and wholeness of this peace, Lord. Instead of squinting in the dark and imagining the worst up ahead, I will trust You to shed light on the path and to smooth the way so my progress brings You praise and glory.
