The Eternal Gospel

Revelation 14:6-8
“…I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth – to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens the earth, the sea and the springs of water.

The angel with the assignment of proclaiming the eternal gospel speaks the same message to every nation and peoples. There is only on gospel around the world. This gospel begins with acknowledging the Creator of all things who must be worshipped. One day we will stand before this Creator God and give an account for our lives. His hour of judgment is coming. Only by receiving his gift of forgiveness through Jesus will we be able to give him glory. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and key to repentance. A gospel without the awareness of God’s judgment of sin and our accountability to our Creator is not a biblical gospel.

Lord Jesus, may I experience and share your eternal gospel in this generation, for your glory!
