Often times we believe that the situation that we find ourselves in is unfair. We believe that we do not deserve the trials that we are facing. We believe that our actions and simply being “good people” should absolve us from hardship. Fortunately, we do not get what we deserve, and this is not the case. We should pray for those who do us wrong despite how difficult. This can be extremely difficult to do, especially when you are being mistreated regularly. We must remember that hurt people hurt people. Their hurt does not excuse their actions at all, but it helps us understand their actions and the reasons behind them. It helps us differentiate the sin from the sinner. This allows us to pray and fight against the true enemy. 

The enemy is cunning and loves to hide behind people. This causes us to channel our anger at the person and not the cause of the strife. Thankfully, despite the giant we see in front of us, God is Faithful and protects us from evil.
