Day Seventeen: Song of Solomon 1-Isaiah 34

Isaiah is a prophet in Judah, the Southern Kingdom. He’s one of the most significant prophets in the Old Testament as he speaks to both immediate circumstances as well as to God’s ultimate plan of redemption in the earth.

Isaiah details God’s suffering Servant in Isaiah 53; Isaiah also foretells of God’s eschatological Plan (New Heavens and Earth). He will also walk Judah through the Assyrian and Babylonian crises, advising the kings as they inquire of the Lord.
