God's Plan With the Night

Jour 3 sur 10

God’s blueprint for our sleep. Did you know God had a blueprint for our sleep? An original plan aimed to receive at night the abundant life that Jesus died for to give us. Therefore, we can get up every morning with a well-rested body, a refreshed soul, and a fulfilled Spirit. The Bible says that our sleep will be deep, peaceful, and pleasant. A delightful sleep! Sleeping is like breathing. We can’t live without it. You can’t get yourself to stay awake for longer than 36 hours. Sleep deprivation causes all kinds of physical and mental problems. That’s why consistently getting enough sleep is very important for a healthy life. Whether you’re a night owl or an early bird, everyone does better on 7-8 hours of sleep a night. This is no coincidence; God designed it that way! The Bible says that our sleep will be sweet if we don’t worry about our possessions or lack thereof but trust the Father to give us what we really need. Doesn’t that sound wonderful? Sweet sleep. To sleep like a happy baby! It takes action from us; we have the responsibility to bring our soul to peace in Jesus in order for His blueprint to become visible in our lives. Take your time to bring your sorrows of the day, little or great, to Jesus. He loves to take them so you can go to sleep peacefully. What can you let go of in the caring, strong hands of Jesus right now? What are you worried about? What do you lack? Take your time, but do it before you close your eyes.
