“Unbelievers”

You communicate. With your hands, facial expressions, or with your body.

There is a phrase: “Preach the Gospel and, if necessary, use words.” But oftentimes I think we are more aware of our actions than of our speech. We are fast to talk. In a world where words and speech are everywhere, it has an even bigger impact on others if we carefully and thoughtfully use our words. God gives you the wisdom the world so desperately needs. God has put you where you are for a reason.

When we speak, we always send a message. Why don’t we start to let our message always be one of love and hope.

How can your speech be seasoned with salt? When you use salt for your food, it protects it from corrupting and preserves it unchanged. Even more, our speech needs to be seasoned with grace in order for it to be pure and incorrupt and beneficial, adding life and flavor.

In a time where words and promises are made but not held, we can really make a difference. When our words, statements, and promises hold true, unbelievers and people around us will see there is something different about us--the difference which points towards Jesus.
