5. Tenacity Triumphs
The Old Testament Prophet Daniel served in the royal court of four consecutive Babylonian kings. He famously survived a night in a lion’s den. However, Daniel’s legacy is a wise and righteous God-fearing exile living in a polytheistic foreign culture.
Neither the kings nor the culture changed Daniel’s tenacious relationship with God. He was as virtuous at the end as when first pressed into servitude. His consistent life of unwavering faith and prayer awarded him God’s promotion, provision, and protection.
Let’s be people of God who remain faithful and continually pray no matter who governs the nation.
