Day Two - God Made us All with a Purpose 

READ:

‘Adam and Eve’ in a Children’s Bible or Genesis 2

God put people in charge of animals and even let Adam name them - this was a very important responsibility. 

God put people in charge of everything else on earth. Note that this means we need to take care of those other things - this is part of our purpose. 

Purpose is the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.

ASK:

Do you have something to take care of that is your responsibility?  

What is the purpose of this responsibility?  Maybe chat with your grownup about this? 

REMEMBER:

Look at the new thing I am going to do.

It is already happening. Don’t you see it?

I will make a road in the desert.

I will make rivers in the dry land.

(Isaiah 43:19)

Thank you Lord that you have created us all unique and wonderful.  

Help us to love you and everyone you have placed in our lives and 

to become more like you every day - in Jesus name - Amen.
