Hope That Restores What's Broken | a 7-Day Doxa Deo PlanExemple

Hope for my City
Colossians 1:19-20 NKJV “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.”
For the most part, we have unconsciously separated our spiritual and our everyday lives. Dualism, in essence, considers everything spiritual to be inherently good and everything physical as inherently bad. However, we are an integrated whole.
John 17:15-18 (NKJV) “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by your truth, Your word is truth. As You have sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.”
Instead of isolating our lives or our faith from our communities, we have been called to bring hope into our communities. Christ is the hope for the hopeless, but he wants to use us to extend that hope to the people in our world.
Do you believe there is hope for your city?
What is your role in bringing hope to the people in your world?
