Jesus I AmExemple

Do you know where you’re coming from? Do you know where you’re going? Jesus shows up as the light of the world, shining light on the dark places of our souls. His light reveals the tough spaces we don’t dare to tap into, tears through the shadows of our secret sin, and forces us to deal with what holds us captive. The radiance of Jesus’ light moves us to repentance. Where we try to cover up the crazy, God brings to the surface conviction, calls us out, yet brings us close. The deep, darkest places of our hearts the enemy intends to use against us. He shows up to steal, kill, and destroy. He wants to use the lies we tend to believe about ourselves to his advantage, so that when faced in a sticky situation, he can scheme. What a joy that Jesus silences our ultimate accuser - Satan - by showing up as the ultimate Victor - King Jesus! To answer those questions: do we know where we are coming from, and do we know where we are going? We must look to Scripture. God’s Word, Jesus, is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path! Whoever is in Jesus will not remain in darkness.
