“Jesus is Life”
In this verse the author, John, tells us how to share our testimony (or personal story of faith) with others. The only way to have eternal life is to believe in the person and purpose of His Son -- Jesus. If you believe that Jesus was the Son of God, fully man and fully God, died on the cross for all of our sins, and rose again three days later to defeat death and prove that He was indeed who he said he was, then you will have eternal life.
On the contrary, those who reject the person and purpose of Christ will not have eternal life. They will not enter into the Kingdom of God. You must believe with your mind and with your heart.
