Who You Say I Am - Part 3Exemple

Nature shows us a great example of a new creation. A creature that starts out looking one way and ends up looking very different! When a caterpillar is born from its egg, it is very, very tiny. As it eats it begins to grow bigger, shedding its exoskeleton several times before it reaches its full size. Then it bundles itself in a chrysalis pod hanging from a branch. It may look like it’s just sleeping, but inside that pod, it’s transforming into a new creation. This is called metamorphosis. Soon what emerges from the chrysalis pod is not a caterpillar anymore, but a new creation, a beautiful butterfly! 

The Bible says that when we follow Jesus we are a new creation, our old life is gone and we have a new life with Jesus. When we follow Jesus we leave our old way of living behind and we have a new way of living. I am who God says I am and He says I am a new creation.
