Who You Say I Am - Part 1Exemple

We've all had times when we feel overwhelmed and alone. We could be surrounded by people and still feel alone. The good news is this, we are not alone. God meets us right where we are. There's nowhere physically we can go that God can't reach us, and the same is true for our feelings. No matter where we are in how we feel, God is there with us. He will never leave us or forsake us. He won't ever give up on us. No feelings are too big for God to handle. God promised that He will never leave us and there’s nowhere we can go that God isn’t there.  

Joshua was surrounded by people, in fact the Bible says there were over 600,000 Israelites on their way to enter the promised land, but Joshua still had the opportunity to feel discouraged and lose hope. God told Joshua, "Be strong, be courageous, don't be afraid. I will never leave you or forsake you."  

The same promise is ours today. When Jesus ascended to Heaven he promised to send a helper who would be with us always, the Holy Spirit. No matter what challenge we face, or how alone we may feel the Holy Spirit is right there to help us.  

You might find yourself feeling alone sometimes, it's in those times we can remind ourselves that God is with us and declare over your life, “I am not alone”.
