When you ask Lawrence, “How’s business?” he responds, “It’s OK, it’s OK. I’m not worried; I’m just thankful for who God has brought to me today. He’s giving me what I need.” Lawrence knows his business and does it well. He’s at peace with his role, understands his calling, and focuses on contentment. He embodies every word of this verse: > Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. – Philippians 4:6 NLT While his business may be shining shoes, Lawrence understands his calling, which impacts his perspective on life.
