LET'S HOLD HANDS

Holding hands has been instinctive since we were infants. As babies, we held our parents' finger with the palms of our itty-bitty hands, finding comfort in a new world. As children, we felt the safety of an adult, securely guiding us, hand-in-hand, across the street. We've held hands like lovers, friends, consolers, and caregivers. 

One of my favorite songs to sing in Sunday school (quite some time ago) was, "He's Got The Whole World in His Hands." Yes, God's got you in His hands too. As soon as you turn to Him, He reaches out to you without hesitation. He removes the ugly grip that fear has on you and guides you through every storm in your life. 

With God, you can become fearless to face anything. He is in control, always ready to reach out and rescue you. Perhaps not right away, but in His timing. Perhaps not even on earth, but surely in heaven. Take His hand and feel His presence and peace now. Close your eyes and picture Him, holding your hand like a loving father as you walk together through life's hills and valleys. God loves you and will always be with you. He will never forsake you. God promises never to leave you. Thank God for this, and remain fearless in His loving hands.
