FearlessExemple

Our God is with us, our God is for us. We’ll be victorious, you make us fearless. (ICF Worship - Fearless)
A God of love and a God of power. The Bible describes God as a God that is so full of love for us – His created beings – that it’s too much for us to grasp. In this perfect love for us there is no room for fear because His word says that “perfect love drives out fear” (1 John 4:18). Yet we so often feel that fear grips our hearts tightly. It waits for us when we wake up in the morning or when we hear a doctor’s report that isn’t quite what we expected.
We need to understand that God himself knows our fears as He felt them also when He walked the earth 2000 years ago. But He doesn’t leave us alone with them. He has a solution! He promises us His “peace that surpasses all understanding and guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus” (Phil 4,7). So imagine fear like a spear that tries to pierce your heart and knock you out. But all around you there is a wall of protection out of the peace He gives you so the spear can’t get to your heart. It just bounces off the wall. Behind God’s wall of protection – in His presence – there is peace and we are safe and sound. We don’t have to live under the yoke of fear any longer! He will never leave our side and in his presence our hearts that once were crippled with fear will come alive. He is making all things new!
If we constantly seek His presence, He enables us to stand strong and to walk fearlessly so we can take more territory for His kingdom and bring light into the dark corners of this earth.
