This verse reminds us that God is faithful, forgiving, and will forgive you. God will purify you, IF you confess your sins. 

Confessing your sins is one of the most authentic things one can do. It’s as real as you can get. And God says, “If you get real with Me, I will forgive you and purify you. I will accept you even though you have made mistakes.” 

Today, you have the opportunity to confess your sins to God. To be completely honest and open with Him. To reveal your real self. 

Take a few minutes to reflect on your sin struggles. Think about all the ways you have fallen short in the past. All the things you try so hard to keep hidden from everybody. Then think about all the things you are currently struggling with. The temptation that maybe you have not shared with anyone. Now confess all of that to God audibly or write it down.
