• There’s not a single piece of Scripture that calls us to blend in. Once we have gained a rightful understanding of the sacrifice that Christ has made on our behalf, we’re called to lead lives that are “worthy of the Gospel” by demonstrating the value of His sacrifice. The Lord has granted us the privilege of representing Him in our culture, and by doing so, our lives and influence create an image in the minds of those around us of what He looks like. 
• This intimidating task of representing Christ is not one we can accomplish effectively or accurately as solitary forces. The Scriptures call us to something different: solidarity with other believers. To properly represent Christ, we should be united with our fellow believers in heart, mind, and direction, even in the face of the suffering we inevitably find in the process. 
• Prepare to read the following verses by praying & asking God to focus your attention and affections on Him.

Reflection: 

• Where do you lack unity with other believers? Why?
• Where do you struggle to live “worthy of the Gospel” by forgiving as you’ve been forgiven & loving as you’ve been loved?
• Where do you suffer for Christ? How can you bring others alongside you in that area?
