Go Deeper:
1. The Israelites consistently did evil in the eyes of the Lord. Why do you think they continually turned away from God?
2. Why do you think God raised up judges for His people?
3. While the Israelites had done evil in the eyes of the Lord again in Judges 13:1, unlike previous times of rebellion, this time they failed to call out to the Lord for help. Why do you think they didn’t bother to cry out to God for help?
4. What consequence did the Israelites face as a result of doing evil in the eyes of the Lord?
5. Who did God raise up to help deliver His people?
6. Considering the fact that God raised up another judge to deliver His people even though they didn’t ask for God’s help, what does that say about you when you need God’s help, but don’t ask for it?
