Make an IMPACT

The Bible teaches us that tithing is an act of obedience and that we should trust God with every aspect of our lives, which also includes our finances. Sacrificing a portion of our income helps us look beyond ourselves and makes us more aware of the needs of others. We offer many ways for you to make an IMPACT and give back. Take a look at some of the options below

Taking Responsibility
What does it actually look like for a man to follow Jesus well?
He takes responsibility.
As long as I'm explaining why it's everybody else's fault, I don't have to change anything.
• Blame asks, "Whose fault is this?"
• Responsibility asks, "What can I own?"
Judah
Irresponsibility almost always sends the bill to somebody else.
"What's mine?"
Don't run from what God has entrusted to you.
What’s yours?
Your past may explain the man you've been. But it doesn’t have to decide the man you become.

Reaching one more person with the Gospel is worth our inconvenience
God can change the kind of man you are.
Your past may explain the man you've been. It does not have to decide the man you become.

What's yours?
WHAT’S MINE?
Action Steps:

Responsibility doesn't change anything until it becomes action. So this week, don't just think about what's yours… do something with it.

This Week

1. Look In The Mirror.
Identify one area where you've been blaming, avoiding, making excuses, or waiting for someone else to change.

Ask yourself… What's mine to own?

2. Say It Out Loud
Tell God… and, if appropriate, another person, what you're taking responsibility for. No excuses. No defending.

Simply say… “This is mine. I need to own it.”

3. Take One Step
Don't try to fix everything. Take one specific step within the next seven days.

Make the call. Have the conversation. Apologize. Ask for help. Change the habit. Show up. Start.
