The Church Is The Only Institution For Which Jesus Will Return
When we think of church, we think of the structure where people gather.
Scripture tells us how important it is to assemble: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25 NKJV
The church was formed not as a social club but as a place to worship, give praise, learn, and get encouragement. It is a place for both believers and non-believers. What? Yes, it is a place where those in sin come to seek God. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 NKJV
I love this quote:“The church is the only institution that exists for those who do not belong to it.”~ Father John Riccardo. What a profound statement, because Christ came to save the lost.
When finding a church, be sure to check out its doctrine, as you want the church where you belong to align with God’s Word. Some denominations today have compromised God’s Word to justify lifestyles. Ensure the church is welcoming, as a welcoming church demonstrates the love God wants us to reflect.
That is the structured church, but the true temple that exemplifies the body of Christ is YOU!!
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” I Corinthians6:19-20 NKJV
In being the church, we must exemplify the work of the Lord. Jesus called the Temple His house of prayer, so we must live up to His standard by setting prayer as an essential part of our boot camp on Earth.
The mission is to spread the gospel so that God’s Word of truth reaches the world. The church is the only institution that Jesus is coming back to take home with Him; don’t miss out!
Prayer: Lord, we thank you for the church and for all who gave their lives for it. I think of the Pilgrims who risked it all to cross a treacherous sea to have freedom to worship You. I think of all the martyrs who have died preaching the gospel of Christ. May we each be an integral part. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
About this Plan

Compared to eternity, life on earth is but a short time. The world is home to an estimated 722,000 centenarians (age 100), according to the United Nations’ population projections for 2024. That is, .02 to .03% of the world’s population. Whether we die young or live to be old, what we do in between will matter. Living here is boot camp training to qualify for heaven!
