Dear Lord Jesus,

We praise You this morning that You are the Good Shepherd. You are the One who would leave the 99 in search of the one. We are thankful for Your pursuit of us, and how You have opened our eyes so that we might see that You truly are THE way, THE truth, and THE life. Thank You for Your grace that pursued us while we were still sinners, and thank You for the light You have shone in our darkness, the hope You have given amidst our despair, and the peace You have given in place our our anxiousness. You moved toward us in our need, and we are forever grateful.

Dear Lord, we acknowledge that though we live in a world rebelling against You, we also see signs of many recognizing the God shaped void in their souls. Jesus, as You said, the fields are truly ripe for the harvest; therefore, we ask You, the Lord of the Harvest, to send out laborers into the harvest to scatter the seed of the Gospel and reap the harvest of eternal life for all who believe. We ask that You would transform our city, our state, our nation, and the world one life at a time, that a mighty movement of Your grace might guide the prodigals home.

In Your good news name, we pray, AMEN
