BUSINESS BIBLE

You may have heard the Bible is the best-selling book of all time, but over 90% of people don’t know what the Bible says. The Bible says there is nothing better than to find satisfaction in our work. In business, more than half of CEOs report that their employees are satisfied with work, while more than half of employees say they are not satisfied with their work. Something is not working.

The BIBLE reveals that business is designed to meet our needs and satisfy an inner desire. In the beginning, God works. We are created to work. It’s how we develop the earth’s resources to provide for both our needs and others. Good business does the same by recognizing people’s needs and providing a product or service. In this way, all work is profitable.

But there is more to being satisfied at work. Work in Hebrew means worship and service. Work in Greek is an inner desire to use our outward abilities for a higher purpose.

Lord, help me to discover how to use my abilities for a higher purpose.
