You may have heard that the world is in decline or coming to an end. If you don’t know what the Bible says about the future, you will be anxious, less optimistic, and less productive at work. The Bible says God is making everything new. Business and innovation are part of the divine plan and are making the world a better place. Life expectancy, living standards, and GDP per capita are all rising globally. Is there no better time to be alive?

Catastrophists and doomsday soothsayers ignore what the Bible says: “No one knows the day or hour, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.” The Bible predicts an end but promises a new beginning. The improving standard of living, life expectancy, agriculture, clean energy, and clean water are only a reflection of what is to come. The Promise is a new heaven, new earth, and new economy.

God is making everything new! The future for business is bright, and it pays to be optimistic. Let’s get to work redeeming and saving the world.
