The Bible's Business Plan

DAY 4 OF 31

“The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” Genesis 2:15 NIV

BUSINESS BIBLE

God works, and we are created to work![1] Work is purposeful human action. It’s how we develop the earth’s resources to provide for both our needs and others. Good business does the same by recognizing people’s needs and providing a product or service. In this way, all work is profitable.

The reality is that we spend most of our lives at work, where we develop valued relationships and achieve great things. Our daily schedule and annual calendars are designed around work, having days of work and rest from work. When we work together, we build trust and create something of value that's worth sharing and protecting, thereby building community. Work is meaningful and purposeful. We are co-creators, innovators, entrepreneurs, executives, and employees working to build the future.

What is your inner desire? What skills do you have? How can you put them to work for a higher purpose? Answer that and get to work!

[1]Genesis 1-2.

PRAY

Lord, help me fulfill my inner desire to work.

Pühakiri
