Day 6 — A Pure Heart and Single Focus

Purity of heart is about intentionality. It means having an undivided inner life, where your motives, desires, and affections all point toward one thing: God. Jesus said in Matthew 5:8 (NIV), “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” When your heart is pure, your vision becomes clear. You begin to perceive His hand in everyday moments, to recognize His voice in stillness, and to see His goodness even in the waiting. Purity clears the fog of distraction and deception so that revelation can flow freely.

Psalm 24:3-4 (NASB) paints a powerful picture of what it means to walk in that kind of purity: "... And who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, nor sworn deceitfully." Clean hands represent external integrity - your actions and choices. A pure heart represents internal alignment - your intentions and desires. Together, they create a life that’s both authentic and transparent before God. Purity isn’t about what you avoid; it’s about what you pursue. It’s choosing intimacy over image, obedience over approval, and presence over performance.

A pure heart is one that has been refined through surrender. It’s the result of letting God test your motives and remove what doesn’t belong - pride, comparison, fear, or hidden agendas. Each time you allow Him to purify your intentions, you make room for greater clarity and authority. Purity attracts presence. When your heart is free from mixture, you carry the peace and power of Heaven wherever you go.

Cultivating purity means returning to your first love daily. It’s asking, “Am I living for His eyes alone?” When your heart is single in focus, you no longer live divided between faith and striving or trust and control. You live from rest, confident that His gaze is the only one that matters. A pure heart sees God — not just in visions or miracles, but in the quiet faithfulness of a life wholeheartedly surrendered to Him.
