The Pursuit - 12 WeeksSample

Hebrews 10:24-25 urges believers not to neglect meeting together but to encourage one another, especially as we wait for Christ’s return. That means church isn’t optional for spiritual growth — it’s essential.
Think about a campfire. When logs are together, they burn bright. But pull one out and set it aside, and the flame quickly dies. The same is true spiritually. When you isolate yourself from Christian community, your passion and perseverance will fade.
Church isn’t just about receiving encouragement; it’s about giving it. God has given you gifts not just for your benefit but for the benefit of others (1 Corinthians 12:7). When you show up, you’re part of keeping the fire burning — in your own life and in the lives of others.
The victorious Christian life is not a solo pursuit of God. It’s a shared journey, where we remind each other of truth, spur each other on, and keep each other from drifting away.
Reflection:
How can you more intentionally encourage and support other believers in your church community?
