Day 8: Rahab: The Scarlet Thread of Redemption — Joshua 2:8–21
🌿 If you were God, perfect and holy, who would you choose to be in the bloodline of your Son? Probably not a prostitute named Rahab! Yet, that’s exactly what God did. Rahab, a woman with a questionable past, became a key part of Jesus’ genealogy.
Her story shows us that God’s grace reaches into the darkest corners and redeems the most broken lives. Rahab’s faith in God led her to protect the Israelite spies in Jericho. As a result, she and her family were spared, and her scarlet cord became a symbol of redemption and protection.
Romans 3:10 says, “There is no one righteous, not even one.” God uses imperfect people to fulfill His perfect plans. That’s the heart of Christmas—God taking broken, flawed people and weaving them into His beautiful story of grace.
✨ Christmas Truth to Ponder: God uses imperfect people as part of His perfect plan.
🙏 Today’s Action Step: What past sin do you need to release and ask God to forgive so you can step into His plan for your life?
